1. Tea Tree Oil

Unless you have very sensitive skin, tea tree oil is a very effective remedy to treat pimples and acne. It is antibacterial in nature and acts on the bacteria that cause pimples and acne. Also, it soothes the inflammation and redness on the pimples. Not only that, it also helps dry out blackheads and whiteheads. Just dip a cotton ball in tea tree essential oil and dab it on the pimples. Rinse your face 15-20 minutes later. Another way of using it is to mix it with 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel and apply the mixture on the pimples and leave it on for 20 minutes before rinsing it off.

Steam can work wonders on your skin and is especially effective when you have pimples.

To steam, use a large container filled with hot water and let the steam come in contact with your face for a few minutes. Cucumber has a soothing and cooling effect on the skin. For this remedy, cut fresh cucumbers and let them steep in water for an hour.
