Gram flour has many health benefits, but it is not suitable for everyone. Chickpea may contain allergens that cause hypersensitivity reactions, which can range from rhinitis to anaphylaxis.46 If you are consuming or using gram flour for the first time, you should try a small amount at first. Take a small bite or conduct a patch test on your skin.
