Earwigs are some of the most misunderstood insects. Many people consider them to be dangerous and believe that they will crawl into our ears, enter our brain and lay their eggs there. However, this is a myth and earwigs are not harmful to humans despite their formidable-looking pincers located on their abdomen. But, they may use their pincers as self-defense causing a minor bite mark that can be easily treated.
Wheezing is whistling sound that’s produced when you breathe and usually indicates respiratory problems. Medical conditions like asthma, cardiac asthma, bronchiolitis, bronchiectasis, pneumonia, acute bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and gastroesophageal reflux disease can cause it. So can a foreign object stuck in your airways and reactions to medications or insect bites.
Soak a clean washcloth in cooled green tea/chamomile tea or plain cold water and press onto the face for 2-3 mins, twice a day. Wear sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher; use mild soaps, moisturizers. Avoid food, drinks that are hot in temperature (spicy foods, alcohol). Try herbal helpers like calendula salve, aloe vera gel, or colloidal oatmeal face masks.
