The highly acclaimed film of the past, The Secret, brought many talented, knowledgeable and diverse people together for the sole purpose of introducing an age-old Universal law, that is, the Law of Attraction. You may be asking, why doesn’t this law work for me? Why am I not able to manifest my desires through my positive thoughts? What am I doing wrong? Let’s take a moment and explore these questions.
To better understand this Universal Law, we need to remember that Einstein taught us that all matter is energy. As energy, we are vibrating each and every moment. It is through our vibration that we consciously or unconsciously, manifest or attract whatever we “ask for.” This “magnetic effect” draws energetic vibrations to each other and is responsible for attracting those vibrations to us.

These activities can make you feel good and bring you into a more harmonious vibration. Any activity which you enjoy, and which relaxes you and allows you to release stress can raise your vibration. Finding a good feeling and holding it for as little as 60 seconds can actually assist in elevating your vibration.
However, in some cases, we have difficulty raising our own vibration due to unresolved emotional issues. Outdated belief systems resulting in unhealthy behavior patterns can result in energetic blocks. For example, a child who grows up repeatedly abused by his/her father will begin to absorb the experiences as “normal.” It will not
Another way to raise your vibration is to release negative thoughts, feelings and beliefs through affirmations. For instance, if weight loss is desired, the affirmation might be, “I am now joyous at my perfect weight.” Affirmations are positive statements in the present tense and immediately raise our vibration by focusing our minds on positive thoughts. An affirmation of financial freedom might be, “I have all the money I want.”
Positive thoughts may help raise our vibration temporarily, but The “Other” Secret lies in keeping our vibrational frequency high, where we really feel good and where we can manifest our true desires. To achieve this, holding positive feelings reigns supreme.
