Mojito Smoothie For Good Skin

This recipe is the perfect skin food! Avocados are rich in fat that is beneficial for healthy skin. Well, any good fat is great for you.

Another other key to good skin is a healthy digestive system. Given today’s food, with the increase of packaged and refined foods, use of sugar in everything, and unstable and toxic fats, it’s no wonder that our digestive systems are out of whack.

So, what do you do?

Well, you do want to take a good hard look at the foods that you are putting into your system. So, an eating lifestyle that supports a plant-based approach would work out better. But, as well, healthy fats, proteins that come from healthy animals and fish (ie. organic, pasture-raised, etc) and complex, clean carbohydrates (I personally choose a grain-free diet that has greatly benefited my skin health, so most of my carbs come from vegetables like parsnips, Brussels sprouts and cabbage).

Also, start adding a probiotic into your diet. It’s an amazing supplement that adds healthy bacteria into your digestive system. Trust me, this will change everything!

This recipe is low in sugar, but you can remove the banana entirely and add a few drops of stevia or extra protein powder if it is sugar-free.
