Lose Weight By Loving Yourself

Exercise and a healthy diet are only two elements in the weight loss equation. There’s more to attaining a healthy weight than just that. The other elements of the equation have to do with the mind and what it can accomplish. And it involves training your mind and reconditioning it to think slightly differently from what it is used to doing. So, it’s time you stopped berating yourself if you’ve been having a hard time trying to lose some sticky weight. Here are a few things to keep in mind on your weight-loss journey. In fact, why don’t we call it your journey to good health instead?

Start By Loving Yourself

Listen to yourself. Not just the words, but listen to the thoughts as well. What have you been thinking and saying about your body of late? Have you been judging it for the way it looks? Have you been neglecting to take care of it? Are you punishing it by eating less

and working out endlessly to lose weight? Think about this. Let’s say your body was a friend of yours. Do you think your body will still be friends with you, considering how you are mistreating it?
Stop treating your body as an adversary. Treat it with kindness and love. Speak to it with love. Approve of it now, when it is the current weight, not some target that you’ve set for yourself. Your most important relationship on this earth is with yourself and your body. Make it healthy.

Chase A Different Target

Stop worrying yourself about the number of pounds you could or couldn’t lose to reach a certain target weight. Focus instead, on becoming healthier. Obsessing about what your weighing scale reads can be a taxing exercise. There are a lot of factors that impact the reading on your weighing scale. If you’ve gained muscle, you’ll weigh more, if you’ve
changed scales, the reading will change, and even the amount of water

that your body decides to retain will alter the reading on your weighing scale. Which is why, instead of chasing a certain number on the scale, it’s better to chase a different target – good health and seeing a healthier you.

Listen To Your Inner Voice

Once you know what your perfect body looks like, start listening to it. Your body knows best. It knows what foods it needs to eat and how much it needs to eat to stay healthy. Forget what time it is on the clock, and listen to your body instead. Some days it may need some kind of food, on others it may want something else. Go with your gut feel. There may be days when you aren’t very hungry and eat just a little, and on some others, you may want to eat more than how much you usually do. Stop trying to lose weight and believe that your body knows what it needs to do to

manifest your perfect body. What needs to be borne in mind is that there should be no place in your life for negativity. No reprimanding yourself for what you ate. And no negative self-talk. The moment you talk negative, you believe in what you talk and that is what manifests. Think only positive, life-affirming thoughts.

You Are Unique. It’s Time You Realized It.

You may be tempted to look at someone else’s weight loss journey and try and copy everything they do. But your body is different from anyone else on the planet. It is a combination of vibrations that are unique to you alone. Your response to exercise and food is different from that of others. There may be trends that may come and go. But they aren’t necessarily good for you. They may be in vogue, but they may not be right for you. Your body is special. Like no one else in the world.

Get Rid Of Bad Energy

We all have

people around us who aren’t very positive in their outlook and give off bad energy. It may be because they may be complaining a whole lot. Or may make jokes about your weight that at times, you may be finding hurtful. It’s best to let such people go. You don’t need them in your life. They are only belittling you and you don’t really need that. It’s time you stood up for yourself and your self-worth. Because if you don’t, no one else will.
