To reduce wrinkle formation, the AAD suggests sleeping on your back.
What can I do to rid or reduce wrinkles – the natural way?
Vitamin A Acid (tretinoin, Retin-A, Renova)
Vitamin A acid is a great way to slow the age process. It has been proven and effective to help various signs of aging, such as mottled pigmentation, roughness, and wrinkling.
(AHA)- Also known as “fruit acids”, Alpha-hydroxy acids (glycolic and lactic acid) stimulate collagen production and slow down the aging process. These natural fruit acids lift away the top layer of dead skin cells, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, particularly around the eyes.
Vitamin A is an antioxidant that helps fight negative effects of cell oxidation and prevent wrinkles.
Vitamin C increases collagen production, protects against damage from UVA and UVB rays, corrects pigmentation problems, and improves inflammatory skin conditions. L-ascorbic acid is the most potent form of Vitamin C for wrinkle reduction and prevention.
Is a vital antioxidant that promotes collagen formation, lubricates the skin and fights factors of aging.
The carotenoid Beta-carotene zaps aging by acting as an antioxidant reducing oxygen damage caused by UV light, pollutions and other environmental hazards like smoking.
Sun protection creams and sprays
SPF 30 or higher should be used when you go outdoors especially in the summer.
Smoking causes wrinkles and age spots.
Eat fatty fish
Salmon along with other cold-water fish is a great source of protein and fatty acid omega 3, helping your body maintain young looking skin. Fatty acids nourish skin and keep it plump and youthful, helping to reduce wrinkles.
Cocoa containing high levels of two dietary flavonols (epicatchin and catechin) protect the skin from sun damage, improves circulation to skin cells, hydrates, and makes the skin look and feel smoother.
Avoid using soap on your face
