My name is Pat White and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a clinical aromatherapist. I became interested in essential oils about five years ago. The effects they have on the mind and body are amazing. When a person experiences chronic stress a myriad of hormones are released in the body. These hormones can lead to digestive problems, elevated blood pressures, eczema, and anxiety. Essential oils have a complex make-up and often one essential oil applied topically or via inhalation may decrease all of the above symptoms. I have learned through many years of education and experience just how important a healthy life style is on not just mental health but health in general.
