Nishita is an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner and Registered Yoga Teacher. She is members of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association, Yoga Alliance, and International Association of Yoga Therapists. She studied under the world-renowned Vasant Lad, BAM&S, MASc in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she studied Ayurveda and Yoga. She is an avid believer in that the universe is the most giving energy out there--and does her best to integrate everything she has received from it into her life. She is passionate about holistic living, and does her best to embody those principles into her own life.
Ayurveda says that salt kindles metabolic fire or agni. Table sat is processed, where its stripped of all the good minerals that the body needs. It also contains added additives or chemicals to prevent the salt from caking. Unrefined or mineral salt is a great option as it adds flavour without chemicals. Use sea salt, himalayan salt, mineral salt or celtic salt.
